We are two individuals (Rick and Trudi)  madly in love and looking for answers to all of life’s questions and questions about ourselves. We search for those answers, together and individually, while reading, exercising, cooking, traveling, and exploring everything we possibly can. Our goal with this site, is to document our experiences and thoughts and engage in conversation with those who agree, disagree or have something to add to this conversation about life, love, food, travel and more.

The domain name and site name, An Easy Give and Take, was Trudi’s comment to me soon after we started seeing each other. Being so at ease with each other, I was at a loss of words as to how to describe our relationship and the goal for our relationship. Her simple answer was that our relationship was an easy give and take. That statement hit me like the proverbial ton of bricks. I believe all relationships should be based on an easy give and take with no games, per-conceived notions or false expectations. That’s our goal…and it is working well for us!
